*Fine lines and wrinkles are evaluated using the Bazin atlas. **The skin's resistance to negative pressure (firmness) and the skin's ability to return to its previous position (elasticity) are displayed in a curve from which a series of interesting parameters can be calculated. ***Measures the electrical capacitance of the skin. Capacitance sensors in the probe allow the measurement of the dielectric constant of the skin which is influenced by the water content in the outermost skin layers of the stratum corneum. Changes in the water content of the stratum corneum are measured in arbitrary units of hydration.
